Holywell Bay Beach (North of Perranporth)

Holywell Bay Beach Newquay image courtesy of VisitCornwall/John SuchA dune-backed expanse of sand perfect for picnics with a sea cave worth exploring at low tide, as well as a shallow river which crosses the beach at its southern end - ideal for toddlers to paddle in.

This clean, safe, large west facing sandy beach is ideal for families, which makes it popular with both locals and visitors. The sand dune system that surrounds the beach does, however, make access for wheel chairs and push chairs difficult.

Facilities
Beach shop, toilet facilities with disabled access, St. Piran's Inn (freehouse), lifeguards in the summer months, all year dog friendly beach (on lead), Seaside Award 2006.
Directions
