An action packed sandy expanse with excellent facilities and beachside restaurants including Jamie Oliver inspired FIFTEEN Cornwall and The Beach Hut.

Watergate is a large, open west facing bay with a two mile long stretch of golden sands. The beach is located at the foot of some very steep cliffs, although there is access down to the beach in front of the Watergate Bay Hotel.

The beach has a restaurant with refreshments available, surf school & hire, extreme beach sports, toilets, car park, lifeguards during the summer months, dog friendly.
Watergate is on the Newquay to Padstow road (B3276) just north of Newquay. Car parking available near the beach.
