Shopping is also an excellent option and in abundance in Cornwall, especially at Truro, which has a superb shopping area and is only a ten-minute drive from the coast. If you are looking for something a little more solitary and quieter, then a visit to one of the nearby National Trust Gardens which will provide you with the perfect place for peaceful contemplation.
