Why not choose the least environmentally harmful way to travel, as far as possible, then visit CO2 Balance to off-set the unavoidable carbon use.
There are through intercity rail services to Newquay on Saturdays and Sundays from May to September, and every day during July and August. First Great Western provide high speed services from London Paddington, South Wales and the Cotswolds to Cornwall, including a Sleeper service from London Paddington. First Great Western operate services on the branch lines in Cornwall, including the Par to Newquay line. Virgin Trains operate some services into Cornwall from Birmingham, Bristol, the North and Scotland.

Park-and-ride schemes run in season at Liskeard (for Looe) and Lelant Saltings (for St. Ives).
There are now many airlines offering flights direct to Newquay Cornwall from around the country. Air South West has flights from Bristol, Dublin, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, Manchester. And from
April 28th Cork, Glasgow and Newcastle
. Ryanair operate one flight a day between Newquay and Stanstead. British Airways have announced that from 20th March 2007 they will begin a daily service between Newquay and London Gatwick, offering a seamless transfer into Cornwall from destinations around the world via this connecting flight.
BMI baby run a summer service between Manchester and Newquay. Flybe runs a service five days a week from Newquay to Edinburgh, and will start a Belfast service from May 2007. The Isles of Scilly Skybus runs a daily flight to St Marys, Isles of Scilly, from Newquay, and have a new service starting from Cardiff Airport to Newquay from 10th March 2008.
The distance between Newquay Cornwall Airport and Newquay Town Centre is about 6 miles, and takes approximately 15 minutes by car. Expect to pay about £12 - £15 by taxi, 7am - 11pm. An hourly bus service also run from the Airport into Newquay town.
PLEASE NOTE: An airport development fee of £5 per departing passenger was introduced from October 2005 to help secure the future of Newquay Cornwall Airport. This follows similar initiatives taken by other airports around the world, including Knock and Kerry airports in Ireland. For ease of administration the Airport Development Fee will be collected at the airport. Children under the age of sixteen will be exempt.
Car hire is available at Newquay Cornwall Airport through Europcar and Hertz or Cornwall Classic Car Hire who will meet you at the terminal.
National Express serves Cornwall and Newquay from destinations throughout Britain. Express coaches go direct to Newquay from London Victoria and Heathrow Airport runs up to six times a day. Locally, an extensive network of bus services is run by a number of operators in Cornwall. The M4, M5 and M6 motorways have made travel to Cornwall simple and straightforward, while within Cornwall itself, the final work to dual the A30 at Goss Moor opened on the 11th July and now provides a fast direct route right through the county. Join the M5 which you then follow to Exeter, after which you take the A30 into Cornwall, and follow the signs for Newquay after the Innis Downs roundabout.
