The Sutherland is an attractive premises in the centre of Newquay, a few minutes walk from the pubs, clubs, shops and principle beaches.

If you travel by road we have a large car park, if by plane we are five miles from the airport and we are five minutes walk from the train and bus stations.

On the ground floor is our freehouse, the top of the town serving a wide variety of draft and bottled beers, cask ale, spirits and bottled drinks. It has a pool table, fruit machines and three dart boards with a large patio/smoking area overlooking Newquay Bay. On the first floor is a comfortably furnished lounge with residents bar with a 24 hour license (at the barman’s discretion). You can watch the sun come up over the sea!

The bedrooms are well appointed with colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, central heating and mostly en-suite. With access to an iron and hairdryer.

There is no curfew and if you can’t remember the door code the barman can let you in! After a few hours sleep a full English breakfast is waitress served in our spacious dining room.

Parties of any sort and size are welcome. Stags/hens/birthdays (fancy dress optional!) Sports groups (fixtures can be arranged) and if you think you will be hungry on arrival food can be arranged, providing it has been booked beforehand.

If you would like a kissogram we can organise it, if you want to paintball, go-kart, horse ride, surf etc we can help there as well, we just want you to enjoy yourselves!
